Affinis is proud to announce the acquisition of Hot Food Boxes, Inc. Hot Food Boxes has manufactured a broad line of high quality, extremely durable heated food transport and holding equipment for the foodservice industry for over 50 years. Hot Food Boxes’ products are used by institutions, schools, hospital, hotels, caterers, prisons and restaurants.

Affinis President, Robert McAfee, explained the acquisition as a logical expansion of Affinis’ product offering in the heated transport and holding cabinet segment of the foodservice industry. “Hot Food Boxes’ products complement Affinis’ SecoSelect product line with products that are rugged, heavy duty, constructed of stainless steel, and some of the most energy efficient products on the market. This acquisition will give our customers the opportunity to purchase a wide breadth of transporting and holding equipment from racks, equipment stands, medium duty proofing, heated/proofing cabinets and heated cabinets to heavy duty heated cabinets, banquet cabinets, tray delivery cabinets and hot food delivery systems from a single manufacturer.”

Affinis’ plans include assimilating the Hot Food Boxes’ products into its modern 100,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Mooresville, IN.
